Summary

Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the north of the track described in MDO38913. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, The site has since been plough-levelled and the features are no longer visible.

Full Description

Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the north of the track described in MDO38913 (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, The site has since been plough-levelled and the features are no longer visible (1).
