Full Description
The sites of two post medieval gravel pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map on the ridge to the north of Buckland Hill House (1). Earthworks associated with the extractive sites are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947, they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
