A small post medieval extractive pit to the south of Spring House, Broadwindsor, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s and 1970s. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A small post medieval extractive pit to the south of Spring House, Broadwindsor, is visible as a narrow earthwork around 43m long on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and 1970s (2). The site borders a historic field boundary, now removed , but is still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
