Please read our .

Summary

An Iron Age pit recorded in 2006 during the archaeological evaluation of a site proposed for development. The lower filling of the pit contained pieces of the base of a single pot of early Iron Age date; one of the pottery fragments had the remains of a perforation. This feature was situated at the western edge of the evaluation site, and it is thought that it may mark the eastern extent of an area of prehistoric activity recorded to the west.
