Full Description
The probable sites of six Second World War bomb impact craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 in the vicinity of what is now Ashley Drive West and Ashley Drive North, Ashley Heath (1). The curvilinear features were 5-10m across, some with rays of ejected material visible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP and were destroyed by modern housing by 1962 (2-3).
