Full Description
A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1946 running roughly southwest-northeast across heathland at the northern end of Matcham's Park and Matchams (1-2). The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The northern portion of the site was levelled by earthmoving by 1962 (3), the southern portion lies under scrubby vegetation and light tree cover and its condition is uncertain (4).
