Summary

Two linear scarps, possibly field lynchets, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1979 to the east of Sutton Common. They are considered to be of post medieval or earlier date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Two linear scarps, possibly field lynchets, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1979 to the east of Sutton Common (1). They are considered to be of post medieval or earlier date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features are still extant in 2014 (2).
