Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated on the slope of a broad ridge. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 40 feet in diameter with a mound about one foot high, and much ploughed. The barrow is visible as very low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A cairn on arable land. Drain 14 paces. Ht 2 ft. <2>

A ditchless bowl barrow under the plough. Diameter 18.0m height 0.6m. <3>

(ST) 78230490 Bowl barrow. Much ploughed. Diameter about 40ft, height 1ft. <4>

The barrow is visible as very low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023)
