Full Description
A banked field boundary at Sopley is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The field boundary is clearly part of a historic field pattern shown on the OS 1st Edition map, although this boundary is not shown (2). It is likely to be post medieval in origin, although a later date is possible.
The boundary is still visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
