Full Description
Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Crooked Withies Farm (1). They are considered to be post medieval or early 20th century in origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been levelled and remodelled for a series of ponds associated with the Swan Sanctuary (2-3).
