Summary

Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Harts Farm, Horton. They are considered to be post medieval or early 20th century in origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Harts Farm, Horton (1). They are considered to be post medieval or early 20th century in origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been remodelled with farm buildings and a house and gardens, no trace of the earthworks was identifiable in 2002 (2).
