Full Description
Ditched linears visible to the southwest of Brockington Farm on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery may be associated with an historic drainage system of medieval or post medieval origin (1 and 2). The features are located to the northwest and downslope of the deserted medieval settlement of Knowlton (MDO6412).
Some of the linear features are visible on a 2002 vertical aerial photograph (3). The site is under vegetation and tree cover on a 2014 vertical aerial photograph and not visible (4).
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
