Summary

A series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on historic aerial photographs taken in 1946 running roughly E-W across the northen edge of Lower Common, south of Potterne Farm. The features are considered to be medieval or later in date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on historic aerial photographs taken in 1946 running roughly E-W across the northen edge of Lower Common, south of Potterne Farm (1). The features are considered to be medieval or later in date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features are no longer visible on lidar imagery (2) and may have been levelled, the site is now under tree-cover.
