Fragments of a post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on the northern bank of the River Crane at Verwood Farm. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features are no longer visible on recent aerial photographs, the area having grown over with trees and low scrub (2).
