Summary

A linear bank, probably a medieval or later field boundary, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 immediately to the west of the River Crane under what is now a golf course. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A linear bank, probably a medieval or later field boundary, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 immediately to the west of the River Crane under what is now a golf course (1). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP, it is still visible as an extant earthwork on lidar imagery (2).
