Summary

A ditched field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of Eastworth Farm. They are possibly of medieval date although a later origin cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A ditched field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of Eastworth Farm (1-2). The boundaries are possibly of medieval date although a later origin cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. It remains under pasture but was subjected to evaluation trenching in 2013/4 (3).
