Summary

Parallel ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north of Mill Hill Wood, Moor Crichel. They are considered likely to be field boundaries or ridge and furrow of medieval or post medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Parallel linear ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north of Mill Hill Wood, Moor Crichel (1). They are considered likely to be field boundaries or ridge and furrow of medieval or post medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
