A post medieval Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Gussage Elms, Gussage All Saints (1). It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (2) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been levelled by ploughing.
