Summary

Undated linear ditches to the north of Horton Inn. The features comprise a long linear running NW-SE (240m long) which appears to cut through the eastern side of the barrow described in MDO5795. A second ditch runs perpendicularly northeastwards from the first towards the barrow described in MDO5779. The features may be of prehistoric origin, either trackways or boundary features, although a later historic date is possibke. The site was digitally plotted from aerial photographs during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Undated linear ditches to the north of Horton Inn. The features comprise a long linear running NW-SE (240m long) which appears to cut through the eastern side of the barrow described in MDO5795. A second ditch runs perpendicularly northeastwards from the first towards the barrow described in MDO5779.
