A large post medieval extractive pit at St Giles's Park is visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery (1). The pit is shown but not named on the OS 1st Edition map (2). It measures 90m long by 36.5m wide and may be a garden feature associated with St Giles's Park.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
