Monument record MDO40242 - Possible post medieval trackways, St Giles's Park, Wimborne St Giles

Ditched linear features visible at St Giles's Park on a 1995 aerial photograph and on current Lidar imagery may be trackways of post medieval origin. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Ditched linear features are visible at St Giles's Park on a 1995 aerial photograph and on current Lidar imagery (1 and 2).

The linears features comprise a longer southeast to northwest aligned linear and an adjacent shorter linear feature running off to the northwest. The features are presumed to be trackways of probable post medieval origin; at their southern end the longer linear overlies possible post medieval field boundaries (MDO40241).

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
