Full Description

Ditched linear earthworks to the west of St Giles's Park are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The linear features are presumed to be historic trackways of medieval or post medieval origin. They run through, and in some areas overly, an area of post medieval drainage (MDO40337).

The features are still visible on a 2014 aerial photograph (2). They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
