A post medieval extractive pit to the northeast of Brockington Farm is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The extractive pit is sub-oval in form and measures 64.8m across by 34.8m wide. It is situated adjacent to the southwest side of Farringdon Clump.

The feature is visible as a shallow tree-filled depression on a 2014 aerial photograph (2). It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
