A series of regular and parallel ditched linear features at Burton are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features may be historic cultivation marks of possible medieval or post medieval origin. Alternatively they may be post medieval drainage features.

The features are under housing on current Google Earth imagery and no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
