Full Description
A ditched linear earthwork on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch is visible on 1940s (RAF 1947) and 1950s (Ordnance Survey 1957) aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (Environment Agency 2015).
The feature is considered to be a historic trackway of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
