Summary

A large hollow is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery to the west of Parkham Rows, White Farm, Witchampton. It lies on the site of a small copse marked on the OS 1st Edition Map and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A large hollow is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery to the west of Parkham Rows, White Farm, Witchampton (1). It lies on the site of a small copse marked on the OS 1st Edition Map and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
