Summary

A series of ditched linear features to the northwest of Colehill Lane, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be a drainage system of probable post medieval date. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A series of ditched linear features to the northwest of Colehill Lane, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).

The features comprise a seris of interlinking rectilinear ditches that are presumed to be part of a post medieval drainage system.

The site is still fields and some features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
