Full Description
A scarped sub-rectangular hollow in a field to the east of Pig Oak is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is 46.7m long by up to 29.8m wide. It is situated 35m to the southeast of a post medieval kiln (Hob UID 1514326) and may be a post medieval clay pit associated with this.
The site is within a clearing of trees on current Google Earth imagery but the feature is not clearly visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
