Full Description
Banked linear features to the east of Lake Farm are faintly visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (1).
The features are narrow and regular in form and may be historic field boundaries of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible.
The features are situated within the area of a Roman military site (MDO5864)and the westernmost linear in particular appears to relate to a linear feature detected by geophysical survey (see Papworth 2011, 164).
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
