Full Description
Two small ditched features on the north side of Pompey's Lane are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-2).
The features are sub-oval in form and are situated either side of a post medieval to modern trackway, which may cut through what was originally a single 18.6m by 10.8m feature, most likely a post medieval extractive pit.
The site is under trees on current Google Earth imagery but the features are faintly visible on 2015 Lidar imagery (2). The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
