Summary

Ditched field boundaries and drainage ditches are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs in the fields to the east of the River Allen to the north east of High Lea Dairy. The boundaries are considered to be part of a wider medieval or later field system. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Ditched field boundaries and drainage ditches are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs in the fields to the east of the River Allen to the north east of High Lea Dairy (1-3). The boundaries are considered to be part of a wider medieval or later field system and possible drainage ditches, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
