Full Description
Ditched linear features to the south of Sleight, Corfe Mullen, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery (1-3).
The features are presumed to be predominantly post medieval drainage ditches, although a well-defined curving linear in the centre of the site may alternatively be a historic trackway or field boundary of medieval to post medieval date.
The site is still open fields on current Google Earth imagery but the majority of the features are no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
