Full Description
Two large hollows (18 and 42m across) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Holt Heath (1). The features are considered to be the potential sites of historic extractive pits although a natural/geomorphological origin is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
