Summary

A bank and ditched field system of probable post medieval date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the southern edge of Holt Heath, north of Clayford Farm. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A bank and ditched field system of probable post medieval date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the southern edge of Holt Heath, north of Clayford Farm (1-3). The system covers an area 580m by 410m across and is incorporated into the linear boundary described in MDO41580. Many of the individual fields contain relect cultivation ridges or drainage features. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
