A small hollow 6m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on the western edge of Holt Heath in the vicinity of the field system described in MDO41626. The hollow is considered to be the potential site of an historic extractive pit; it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A small hollow 6m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (1) on the western edge of Holt Heath in the vicinity of the field system described in MDO41626.
