Full Description
An extensive area of 19th or early 20th century shallow extraction is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on King Down, Pamphill (1). The features cover 6 hectares and may be the result of peat or turf cutting. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
