Monument record MDO4192 - Prehistoric burial, Langton Long Blandford

Human remains and 'British urns' found at this location in 1840. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

"Applies to the site, where in 1840 were found several bones evidently human remains, also urns etc, of Ancient British Origin...1/2 mile S.E. of LANGTON HOUSE." <1>

No further information obtained upon this site and the present location of finds. The area is now grass covered. <3>
