Full Description
A group of Old Chalk Pits are marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the east of Cruxton Barn, Maiden Newton [1]. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [2] and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. They are part of a larger group of pits in the vicinity.
