The site of a 'Tumulus' is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map on the ridge to the north of Round Hill Plantation, Wynford Eagle. A low oval mound, 23m by 15m across, is visible at this location on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
The site of a 'Tumulus' is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map on the ridge to the north of Round Hill Plantation, Wynford Eagle. A low oval mound, 23m by 15m across, is visible at this location on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project; it potentially the site of a Neolthic oval barrow or a mutilated Bronze Age round barrow.
