An extensive medieval field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Chilfrom between Higher and Lower Drove. The lynchets and field boundaries extend over an area of 30 hectares and were digitally poltted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project
