Full Description
An 'Old Chalk Pit' with associated limekiln is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north of Higher Coombe Farm, Rampisham [1]. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs [2] and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
