Full Description
A sub-oval quarry pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the west of Park Coppice, Sydling St Nicholas (1, 2). The feature is recorded as an old chalk pit on the OS 1st Edition map (3). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project. The feature appears filled in on current Google Earth imagery.
