A cluster of sub-circular pits are faintly visible as indistinct cropmarks on aerial photographs on Higher Hill Bottom, Cerne Abbas (1, 2). The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
