Summary

An irregular scarped depression and two small irregular pits adjacent to the west are visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery on the south side of Eastfield Hill, Sydling St Nicholas. The features are probably post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

An irregular scarped depression and two small irregular pits adjacent to the west are visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery on the south side of Eastfield Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1). The features are probably post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
