Monument record MDO43150 - Historic field system, East Chelborough

Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken to the west of Horsey Farm, East Chelborough. The features are considered to be historic field boundaries and trackways associated with a field system of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken to the west of Horsey Farm, East Chelborough [1, 2]. The features are considered to be historic field boundaries and trackways associated with a field system of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The features are no longer evident on Google Earth imagery and may have been plough levelled.
