TDW/1156 (Ministry of Town and Country Planning reference). Cassini grid 41/12 SE 148246. Underground shelter considered for destruction as public danger, 1949. 'Extremely difficult to find. About 20-25 ft off track leading from gate to wood. Follow track 30ft N from gate, then 70ft W'. Church Hill, NE of Alton Pancras. <1>
