Full Description
A rectilinear ditched enclosure, 45m by 32m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (1). Small gaps on the northern and southern sides may be the locations of entrances. The enclosure is considered to be of later prehistoric or Roman date and is possibly contemporary with the ditched field system to the north described in MDO43904. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
