Full Description
At SY 81439865, the cropmark of a ditch of a possible sub-rectangular enclosure, is visible on air photographs. It measures approximately 34.5 metres square internally, with rounded corners. The ditch overlaps at the north-east angle for about 20 metres as if to allow an entrance way some 6 metres wide. <1>
Inspection not possible because of crops, but nothing visible from a distance. <2.
The rectilinear ditched enclosure was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. It is 40m across with a north facing multi-ditched entrance.
