Full Description
A linear ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running southwards to the east of the Roman Road from Badbury to Bath (1). It turns eastward to cut across the Roman road from Badbury to Old Sarum before continuing south. The feature is considered to be a trackway or field boundary of later prehistoric date and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
