Monument record MDO44060 - Palaeolithic handaxes from Kettle's Gravel Pit, Corfe Mullen

Ten Lower Palaeolithic handaxes and two flakes were found at Kettle's Gravel Pit which was in operation during the 1970s and before. The geology in the area is Ensbury Park Gravel.
